For those who are unsure of where they are heading, in need of personal help
  • to give them the confidence to help  them communicate
  • to have a sense of dress and personal behaviour standards
  • to believe in themselves and their opportunities

You do not get a second chance to make
a good first impression

OPERATION KICKSTART

For those who have achieved a level of self confidence and are ready to present themselves for employment.

Guidance is provided to help them:

  • Identify areas where they need to develop/improve their skills
  • Prepare acceptable resumes
  • Be aware of their appearance
  • Consider various job options
  • Research job vacancies in print and electronic media
Their progress is monitored by the Youth Officers.
If appropriate they may be provided with assistance to attend external courses.
