Every year The Shack helps young people to help themselves. Through providing support to the youth of Epping and its districts on issues ranging from child abuse to drug & alcohol addiction and beyond, we aim to help young people regain their lives and reach their full potential. The Shack provides counselling and support services to teenagers, free of charge, and where possible works with families to help resolve conflicts and recreate a supportive family environment.

Our services include, but are not limited to, assisting teenagers through counselling; family & court support; accommodation; employment; and gaining government assistance.

In addition to counselling and support services, The Shack provides a haven for local youth. The youth outreach centre is a safe, supervised space, free from drugs and alcohol, where teenagers can interact and enjoy social and recreational activities. We hold regular workshops on a variety of issues and additionally provide tea and coffee facilities; a pool table; Playstation and computers with internet access.
